What is exclusion fencing?

Exclusion fencing is a type of fencing designed specially to protect wildlife from areas such as building and development sites and engineering sites. It is designed in such a way that prevents small mammals and reptiles from clambering over, keeping them safe and away from any potential harm. It can also be used for ecological monitoring and to mitigate the movement of wildlife.

The fencing works by being placed onto a machine which is designed to bury the fencing in the ground. This process ensures that the fencing stays in place without tipping over. Furthermore, each reel is available with a 90 degree bend of either 50 or 100mm at the top. A crease is located near to the bottom which will allow for underground return.

As you can specify the weight of the reel, we can supply reels that can be easily carried to remote locations. For extreme environments, this is ideal as access may be restricted.
